Small businesses to have red tape slashed under a Coalition
The Federal Member for Forde, Bert van Manen supports the Coalition’s Deregulation Taskforces target to reduce the cost of red tape on local business by $1 billion per year
According to Mr van Manen small businesses employ over 4 million Australians and while they are being burdened with more and more red tape the unemployment levels continue to rise.
Bert van Manen invites local small business to identify areas of red tape that are hindering their job growth and productivity.
‘The Government can’t keep hitting small businesses with more and more taxes. There should be more incentives and less taxes. It is all stick and no carrot’ said one of Forde’s leading commercial laundries.
‘There is a need to identify ways to reduce the cost of red tape compliance, with a focus on the needs and problems experienced by small business’ said Mr van Manen
Bert van Manen said he will be making a submission to the Coalition’s Deregulation Taskforce and invites local small business people to write and make a submission to this important Taskforce.
