ONE of Forde’s most vital sporting and community facilities is overdue an upgrade.

Hammel Park is central to the region’s sporting community.

The multipurpose hub is located in Beenleigh and is home to baseball, junior rugby league and netball.

With club membership numbers growing across all three sporting codes, the facilities need to reflect that growth.

Member for Forde, Bert van Manen MP, has secured funding for each club over the years, but wants to do more.

Bert is calling on locals to get behind the local club’s and sign a petition, to show the Federal Government the level of support there is to help secure the $3.55 million needed.

Beenleigh Hawks Baseball Club, Beenleigh Netball Association and Beenleigh Junior Rugby League need your help.
