What a joy it was to attend the official opening of the Mini Farm at Loganlea SHS. So many people from many parts of the community have been part of this since the beginning, including many as sponsors. Congratulations to everyone involved.

As part of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, a special candlelight ceremony is held each year to remember those who have lost their lives and those who have been affected by domestic and family violence. I was privileged to attended the vigil at the Logan Entertainment Centre last night alongside Cath Bartolo from YFS.
A great end to the week opening the 2023 Skate Queensland Roller Skating Artistic Championships. I’m a passionate supporter of this event every single year and I was also proud to present a few of the yearly awards before the opening night began!

Yesterday, I attended the Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club Dawn Service and laid a wreath as part of the commemorations. I’ll be attending a few more services throughout the day as we honour the fallen. Lest We Forget.
My final ANZAC Day Ceremony for today was at the Gold Coast City Council Community Centre in Upper Coomera. I was joined by Michael Crandon MP, Cr Donna Gates – Gold Coast as we paid our respects to our servicemen and women.
I joined the Rotary Club of Coomera Valley’s Anzac Day Ceremony this morning and had the privilege of delivering the Ode to those who braved the rain to pay their respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Today, I continued to commemorate Anzac Day at another School Ceremony. This time, paying my respects and laying a wreath at Kimberly Park State School. It was great to catch up with with their School Principal – Libby Jordan as well as other staff and students.
