This year, guests will be spoilt with performances by Opera Queensland and the Canterbury College Cantabile Choir and concert band.
Pat Heck is one of the organisers of the successful event.
“The event has been running for seven years now and 2011 is looking to be our most spectacular yet,” she said.
Mr van Manen looks forward to attending the event, schedule permitting.
“It’s great to see both locals, residents from Brisbane, the Gold Coast and also interstate attending the event,” he said.
The organisers aim is to raise more than $20,000 for the two main beneficiaries and other various youth and community charities.
“I wish those involved in the event the best of luck in achieving these admiral goals in helping their community,” Mr van Manen said.
