On Wednesday I attended the Sod Turning of Stockland‘s Yatala South Distribution Centre which is due to be completed by March 2024. Large-scale distribution centres like Yatala South will play a critical role in supporting the economy, whilst creating jobs for our community.
It was great to hand over the ceremonial jerrycan to Blood Bikes Australia this week. They were one of the recipients of our Volunteer Grants Program. Thanks to Peter Davis and the entire Blood Bikes Australia Volunteer Team for the work they do in our community.

Over the weekend, I took some time out to head down to the Beenleigh BMX Club to help celebrate their annual Flats n Flannies Day! This race day is special to the club as it’s in memory of Emma Wolter and to support The Heart Foundation in their research.
