Twin Rivers Community Care is more prepared than ever to assist local job seekers thanks to a grant from the Federal Government.

The centre was a successful applicant in Round Three of the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme and has received $3,210 to assist with the cost of new equipment for its Launch to Work program.
Federal Member for Forde Bert van Manen delivered the good news this week.
“I am thrilled to once again be able to support Twin Rivers and the good work they do for our community,” Mr van Manen said.
“The Launch to Work program is designed to support those with disabilities, or mothers returning to work, and help them feel better prepared for the next step in their careers.
“The program has long required laptops and internet toggles to function more effectively, which is what this grant money with help provide.
“Ultimately, the program is all about building stronger families and a stronger local economy by upskilling those who are ready and keen to work.
“I am thrilled to see this funding go to such a good cause.”
