Forde residents are set to benefit from a major congestion-busting road upgrade between Eight Mile Plains and Daisy Hill.
The $749 million project will widen an 8 kilometre section of the M1 Motorway from six to eight lanes with upgrades to public and active transport being delivered as part of this project. Construction is set to commence next year and will link up with the Gateway Merge upgrade which is on-track for completion in 2020.
This project is just another example of the Morrison Government delivering on our plan for the people of Forde to get you home sooner and safer.
