Boer War Memorial
I am pleased to support the Leader of the Opposition Tony Abbott, and the Member for Ryan Jane Prentice who presented a petition to Parliament in May.
The petition with over 10,200 signatures is to erect a memorial acknowledging The Boer War.
No memorial has yet been erected to remember the 23,000 men and women who served, and the 1,000 who sacrificed their lives in this war.
It is important that all serving men and women past and present, are acknowledged for their service to Australia.
