The Coalition has a strong tradition of championing the issues that concern Australian women. Since Federation the Coalition has given women the vote, provided child endowment payments directly to mothers, improved workplace opportunities for women, enacted legislation to improve equal opportunity outcomes for women and created a baby bonus to be paid to mothers of newborn and adopted babies.

 

All women have a valuable contribution to make to their family, their community, their workplace and to society. We aim to draw on the collective wisdom of generations of Australian women who have helped shape our society.
