Thousands of Surveys Returned to Bert - MEDIA RELEASE 26th April 2012
The Federal Office of Bert van Manen MP has been inundated with returned ‘Forde’s Biggest Surveys.
The Member for Forde said around 2,500 surveys had made their way across his desk in the past few weeks.
“I am very happy with the response from our local community.”
“We are going to be very busy here in the office over the next couple of months collating the data to get the survey results back to the community.”
Mr van Manen said the survey comprised of 38 questions, including a ‘Have Your Say’ section where people were encouraged to write up any further suggestions to improve their local area.
“From what I have seen so far there have been some great suggestions from people with extensive local knowledge.”
Once the results of these survey’s are complete Mr van Manen wants to start visiting areas around the electorate to speak with locals about what more can be done to solve local issues.”
“It is important for people to stay in contact with me and let me know what issues need to be addressed in the future.”
